How to replace the starter motor on 2005 Cadillac SRX?

In order to replace the starter motor, turn the ignition off and deconnect the battery negative cable. Disconnect the starter solenoid connector, starter terminal nut and battery positive cable. Removal of the starter motor and installation of the new one followed by reconnection of the cables and the electrical connector.
