How to replace the Auxiliary Blower Control Switches on 2005 Cadillac SRX?

The first step to replace the auxiliary blower motor switch includes gently pulling the center dome lamp assembly downward from its front edge to free its fasteners. Begin by detaching the electrical connector from the auxiliary blower motor switch then undo the screws that secure it to the system. Remove the auxiliary blower motor switch that is located within the dome lamp housing. Place the new auxiliary blower motor switch in the dome lamp housing before tightening its screws to 1 N.m (9 lb in) torque. Reconnect the electrical connector to the auxiliary blower motor switch and put back the center dome lamp assembly.
