Begin by safely raising the vehicle and remove the tire wheel assembly from the right front side followed by the right engine splash shield. First detach the right stabilizer shaft brackets from the right lower Control Arm followed by right Tie Rod End removal from right Steering Knuckle. Continue by removing the right lower Ball Joint from the lower Control Arm and taking away the right wheel drive shaft from the transaxle. Secure the wheel drive shaft to the right Steering Knuckle along with the strut before you install the slide hammer (J 6125-B) and slide hammer adapter (J 6125-1B) and universal seal remover (J 23129) to pull out the wheel drive shaft oil seal from the transmission. Use lightly lubricated transaxle fluid to prepare the new seal by inserting it into the axle seal protector (J 37292-B). Then apply the Axle Shaft seal installer (J 29130) to install the new seal properly. Take the Axle Shaft through the lip seal carefully to avoid damaging the seal lip surface by the shaft splines. The wheel drive shaft needs to be installed onto the transaxle while you install the right lower Ball Joint onto the Steering Knuckle before finishing with the right Tie Rod End and right stabilizer shaft bracket attachment to the right lower Control Arm.
