How to Service and Repair the Oil Pump on 2005 Buick LaCrosse?

To change the oil pump, pull off the cover on the case side and unscrew the electrical connectors of the solenoid valves, manual valve position switch and temperature sensor. Unscrew the bolts of the oil pump and disassemble the oil pump. Install the oil pump again and connect the electrical contacts once again before substituting the cover of the case side.
