How to Replace a Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Safely on 2005 Buick Century?

First, support the vehicle by raising it to replace the heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S). Disconnect the ho2s electrical connector, and with the heated Oxygen Sensor wrench (J 39194-B) remove the ho2s with caution to prevent applying too much force as you may damage the threads on Exhaust Manifold or Exhaust Pipe when the engine is below 48°c (120°F). Before installing new or service sensor, apply threads with anti-seize compound (P/N 12377953) or another one if needed. Mount the heated Oxygen Sensor and tighten it with the heated Oxygen Sensor wrench ( J 39194-B) down to 42 n.m ( 31 lb ft). Finally, reconnect the ho2s electrical connector and bring down the vehicle.
