How to replace the front sway bar bushing on a 4WD on 2004 GMC Sonoma?

In order to change the sway bar bushing of a 4WD car, one has to first lift the car and hold it up. Take out the steering linkage shield, the sway bar bracket mounting bolts and the sway bar bracket. Replace the old bushing with the new one and fit back the parts and then lower the vehicle.
