How to replace the idler arm on a 4WD on 2004 GMC Sonoma?

To change idler arm of a 4WD car, lift and hold the vehicle and pull off steering shield and differential carrier shield. Take off the idler arm and examine the ball stud. Installation of the new idler arm, reconnection of the relay rod and replacement of the shields. Lastly, bend the vehicle and bend the front toe.
