How to replace the rear door jamb switch on 2004 GMC Sonoma?

In order to change the rear door jamb switch, it is best to disconnect the negative cable to the battery. A flat tool will pull the switch out of the hinge-pillar and pull off the electrical connector and should be taped to keep the wires from falling. Re-attach the electrical connector, re-attach the switch and re-attach the battery.
