How to replace the brake backing plate on 2004 GMC Sonoma?

In order to fit a new brake backing plate, lift up the car and take away the tire, brake drum, brake shoes, and wheel cylinder. Take out the backing plate bolt and axle shaft. Install the new backing plate, fasten it, fit up again the axle shaft, the wheel cylinder, brake shoes, and brake drum. Lastly, re-fit the tire and lower the car.
