In order to change automatic transmission fluid and filter in 4L80-E/4L85-E transmission, lift the vehicle and empty the fluid. Sealant the drain plug and refit it and take away the oil pan. Change the oil filter and clean up the surfaces. Install parts and fill the transmission with dexron iii fluid.
