How to replace the fuel level sensor on 2004 GMC Envoy?

In order to replace the fuel level sensor, disconnect the sensor electrical connector by unloading the fuel tank module. Unlock the locking tab and move the sensor downwards. To install, place the sensor on the module slots and make sure the locking tab is closed, again reconnect the electrical connector and reconnect the module.
