How to replace the evaporator core on 2004 Chevrolet SSR?

The evaporator core can be replaced by the removal of the HVAC module assembly with the ID screws. Disassemble the HVAC module assembly half and take out the evaporator core. Installation of the new core should be followed by adding refrigerant oil, HVAC module should be reassembled and screws should be tightened and then the assembly can be re-installed.
