To disable the SIR system, to replace the inflatable restraint front end sensor. Unscrew the electric connector and take out the CPA. Unscrew the sensor bolt and dismount the sensor. Wipe the mounting area, assemble the sensor, face forward and install in a horizontal position, assemble the electrical connector again, and enable the SIR system.
