How to Replace the Rear Brake Disc Backing Plate on a 15 Series W/NYS on 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500?

Start replacing the rear disc Brake Backing Plate on a 15 series w/nys vehicle by freeing the park brake then lifting and supporting the vehicle. Undo the wheel from its place and reduce park brake cable tension when you lower the intermedium cable then detach it from the equalizer bar. To begin the procedure remove the rear park brake bracket bolt and disconnect the park brake cable from its location on the actuator lever. Also take out the Wheel Bearing and park brake shoe. Shift the park brake actuator lever housing from the backing plate while separating the two components. Set the park brake actuator lever housing onto the new backing plate first before installing the park brake shoe and Wheel Bearing. Use appropriate tools to adjust the park brake shoe if needed. Reattach the park brake cable properly to the park brake actuator lever and install the rear park brake bracket bolt. Tighten the bolt to 61 nm (45 ft. Lbs.) final torque. Return the tire wheels before lowering the vehicle and finally secure the park brake cable to the equalizer bar.
