How to replace the wheel axle shaft on 2004 Chevrolet Malibu?

To change the wheel drive shaft, lift and stand the car then take out the wheel and tire. Unscrew the outer tie rod assembly and part the ball joint. Attach the Hub Spindle Remover, and disconnect the drive shaft out of the transaxle. Install new shaft, re-connect, check fluid levels and alignment.
