2004 Chevrolet Impala Headlight Bulb Parts and Q&A
Q: How to replace the front headlight bulb on 2004 Chevrolet Impala?
A: Start the replacement of the impala's headlamp bulb by first opening the hood followed by removing the radiator air baffle. Use gentle hands to maintain the headlamp lens while you detach the retainers next. When you ease up the retainers they will let go of the upper fascia support so you can take out the headlamp from its slots. Detach the headlamp electrical connector before removing the headlamp from the vehicle. The rubber access cover should be removed from the headlamp after observing the halogen bulb caution. First disconnect the electrical connector from the bulb/socket before removing the bulb/socket by turning it counterclockwise. To perform installation connect the electrical connector to the bulb/socket then proceed with clockwise rotation to finalize the operation. Replace the rubber access cover before joining the electrical connector to the headlamp unit while placing the headlamp into its correct position in the upper fascia support. Reading and appropriate check of headlamp aim must happen before the hood closure when you push both headlamp retainer clips until they reach complete installation.
