In order to change the liftgate lock cylinder, unscrew the trim panel and the latch assembly. To remove the lock cylinder, depress the locking pin and rotate the lock cylinder opposite clockwise. Installation requires lock cylinder placement, which should be clockwise until pin inserted and then the trim panel and latch assembly must be reinstalled.
