How to replace the rear inside door handle on 2004 Cadillac DeVille?

The first step to install a rear inside door handle requires complete removal of the rear door trim panel. You must remove three fasteners which hold the inside door handle to the door trim panel before extracting the handle itself. When installing the inside door handle users must guide it through the door trim panel while referring to the Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices. Screw in the three fasteners that attach the inside door handle to the door trim panel before tightening them to 2 N.m (18 lb in). Reinstall the rear door trim panel as the last step.
