How to replace the thermostat housing (LA1) on 2004 Buick Rendezvous?

To replace the water outlet housing (LA1) - use the J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers to remove the air cleaner and duct assembly. Drain the coolant and then remove the crossover exhaust pipe and radiator hose. Take out the thermostat housing, clean surfaces and install the new thermostat and housing. Reattach parts and filling the cooling system.
