The replacement process for positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve begins with fuel injector sight shield removal followed by disconnecting the MAP Sensor electrical connector then removing the MAP Sensor. Position the access cover downwards using a 16 mm (5/8 inch) socket then rotate it counterclockwise 1/4 turn to eliminate it. You need to remove the PCV Valve together with its o-ring from the Intake Manifold. First step for installation is to add the new o-ring and the PCV Valve before putting on the access cover . The complete procedure includes reinstalling the MAP Sensor while reconnecting its electrical connector before putting back the fuel injector sight shield.
