How to Replace the Automatic Transmission Filter and Fluid on 2004 Buick Rainier?

In order to change the Automatic Transmission Fluid and filter, elevate the vehicle and pour a drain pan below the transmission. Take off the bolts that hold the oil pan, tap the pan and drain the fluid. Changing the filter and gasket, cleaning the surfaces and reassembling. Fill up with transmission and inspect leaks.
