  A: Place the vehicle on a lift at a frame height that lets control arms rest loose as you begin wheel bearing and hub replacement. Take out the wheel and tire set from the drive axle before preparing this space for maintenance. Stick a drift punch or screwdriver into the brake caliper and rotor to secure them and remove the wheel bearing nut then the rotor. Unplug the abs sensor and detach its clip from the dust shield. Remove all wheel bearing/hub retaining bolts to replace the hub assembly as one unit.
