How to replace the evaporator core on 2003 GMC Sonoma?

In order to change the evaporator core, prepare the required equipment, such as the Halogen Leak Detector. Take out the right fender, blower motor resistor, accumulator and evaporator tube. Disassemble evaporator and blower unit, check the seals, change them when necessary. Re-assemble parts, and make sure they are fixed correctly, and test leak.
