How to replace the timing chain and sprockets on 2003 GMC Savana 2500?

In order to replace the timing chain and sprockets, dislodge the oil pump and align the timing marks of the crankshaft and the camshaft sprockets. Take off camshaft sprocket bolts, sprocket and timing chain. Installation should be done only after cleaning and the parts have been inspected and aligned correctly with the camshaft sprocket bolts being tightened before the oil pump is re-fitted.
