How to replace the primary hood latch on 2003 Chevrolet Venture?

To change the main hood latch, one has to open and hold up the hood, then disconnect the hood release cable. Take out the bolts of the latch support bracket and remove the latch. Install the support bracket, latch, reconnect the cable and adjust the hood when necessary.
