How to replace the Air Bag Sensor in the Front End on 2003 Chevrolet Venture?

As part of replacing the inflatable restraint front end sensor, one must disable the sir system. Next, detaching the connector-position assurance (CPA) from the electrical connector in front end sensor, disconnect the front end sensor electrical connector. Then, you take off the 2 integral bolts securing the front end sensor to the frame front crossmember and then remove the front end sensor from the vehicle. In order for installation, situate the new front end sensor into the right place and install it using the 2 integral bolts, torqued to 8 n.m (71 lb in). Then you need to connect the sensor electrical connector to the front end sensor and re-install the cpa onto the sensor electrical connector. Finally, enable the sir system.
