How to replace the wiper motor on 2003 Chevrolet SSR?

Before working on the wiper motor you must open the hood, detach wiper arms and remove the air inlet grille panel. First remove the belt-driven wiper transmission and motor fasteners. Next lift the motor up to detach the motor electrical connector and slide it out of the vehicle. Insert the wiper motor into the car and join its electrical connector. Reattach the wiper transmission and add the wiper motor fasteners until they reach 10 N.m (88 lb in). Finally reinstall the air inlet grille panel and wiper arms before putting the hood back in place.
