In order to change the shift lever in an automatic transmission, deactivate the SIR system and act accordingly. Take the shift lever shift seal off and disconnect the shift lever connector. Removal of shift lever and shift lever seal followed by attaching the new shift lever assembly and fixing it. Installation of the trim covers and SIR system.
