Take off the strut assembly and put the strut spring compressor (J 34013-B) into the holding fixture bench mount (J 3289-20). Place the strut assembly into the strut spring compressor (J 34013-B) with the help of the lower strut spring compressor adapter (J 34013 After that, take off the dust cap, loosen the strut rod piston nut , and let the spring go back to its original size. Take off the following parts from the strut: Strut support, dust seal, spring seat, upper insulator, coil spring, spring bumper, and lower insulator. For installation, put the lower insulator , spring bumper , coil spring , upper insulator , spring seat , dust seal , and strut support onto the strut in the proper order.
