How to replace the intermediate steering shaft on 2003 Chevrolet Corvette?

To install the intermediate steering shaft, steering column must be locked and then access the upper coupling bolt. Take off upper coupling bolt, and lower coupling shield, and the lower coupling retaining bolt. Install the installation of the new intermediate shaft, attach the couplings, and tighten the bolts. Lastly, install the lower steering coupling shield again.
