How to Replace a Tailgate Handle on an End Gate on 2003 Cadillac Escalade?

In order to remove the tailgate release handle, open the trim panel and the liftgate. Take out the handle assembly by removing the nuts on the tailgate and un-clipping the actuator cable. Install the handle, screw the nuts, re-connect the actuator cable and re-connect the trim panel.
