  A: Begin the Muffler replacement by unlocking the spare tire wheel storage cylinder followed by taking out the spare tire and removing both rear tires and wheels. The link rod on the rear suspension sensor must not be pried away from the ball stud of the position sensor. Use j38185 hose clamp pliers (J38185) to secure sensor link rods to ball studs on sensor levers when rpo z55 is present. After reconnecting the left and right chassis harness electrical connectors that serve the electronic suspension rear position sensor and rear shock, reattach rear wheels to their respective tires before putting the spare tire back on the hoist and securing the spare tire wheel stowage lock cylinder.
