How to replace Automatic Transmission Shift Levers with a Tow/Haul switch on 2003 Cadillac Escalade?

In order to install the shift lever with Tow/Haul switch, unscrew the head screw at the end of the TORX(R) screw of the shift lever and the trim cover of the lower column. Unscrew the knee bolster and deflector bracket and unlace the wiring harness. Installation requires reconnecting the shift lever, reconnecting the harness and attaching the knee bolster and trim cover again.
