2003 Buick Regal Headlight Bulb Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Replace the Headlight Bulb or Cornering, Sidemarker, Park, or Turn Signal Bulb on 2003 Buick Regal?
A: Begin by opening the hood to proceed with bulb replacement of the headlamp or cornering, sidemarker, park, and turn signal operations. Apply light pressure to the headlamp lens during removal of the retainers. Lift the retainers of the headlamps to unlock them before removing the retainers. First detach the electrical connector from the headlamp while you remove it by taking out the mounting tabs from its locations in the upper fascia support and fender reinforcement. Begin by releasing the headlamp bulb/sockets that need replacement by carefully rotating them counterclockwise. After removing the rubber access covers from behind, observe the halogen bulb caution. Install the new headlamp bulb/socket along with its electrical connector to the headlamp by rotating it clockwise until reaching full seat. Secure the rubber access covers while connecting the electrical connector to the headlamp before properly placing the headlamp mounting tabs into their slots in the upper fascia support and the fender reinforcement. When installing the retainers you should press on the headlamp lens gently while directing the retainers over the headlamp mounting tabs where they should be completely pressed into place. Before closing the hood the technician should inspect the headlamp for proper fit and check the headlamp aiming if new lamp installation occurred or front end service caused mounting bracket disturbance.
