How to service and repair the Throttle Position Sensor on 2003 Buick LeSabre?

Begin the service work of the Throttle Position Sensor by removing the fuel injector sight shield afterward disconnecting the throttle position (TP) sensor electrical connector from its positioning. After disconnecting the tp sensor electrical connector from the Throttle Body you should remove the tp sensor attaching screws to take out the sensor. Normal throttle valve closure position must be confirmed before the tp sensor can be inserted into the Throttle Body assembly. The installation requires application of thread-locking compound loctite 262® (GM P/N 1052624) or equivalent on screws followed by tightening the two tp sensor attaching screws to 2 n.m (18 lb in). Connect the tp sensor electrical wiring connector before replacing the fuel injector sight shield.
