How to service and repair the power door lock switch on 2002 GMC Safari?

The power door lock switch is serviced and repaired by taking out the armrest screws and armrest. Take off the handle of the window (when it is fitted) then remove the lock lever escutcheon and upper corner trim. Disassemble electrical connectors when required. Install parts again, making sure that all the screws are firmly screwed in place.
