How to replace the brake backing plate on 2002 GMC Safari?

In order to change the brake backing plate, lift the vehicle and take away the tire, brake drum, brake shoes, wheel cylinder and axle shaft. Take out the old bolts of the backing plate and tighten in the new backing plate. Install an axle shaft, wheel cylinder, brake shoes, and brake drum again and connect the tire and bleed the brake system.
