How to replace the rear disc brake backing plate on 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

In order to change the backing plate of the rear disc brake, lift the vehicle and take off the tire. Remove the park brake cable, the brake caliper and bracket assembly, the rear brake rotor, and park brake shoe. Take out the rear drive axle and backing plate, install in the reverse order.
