How to replace the emblem/nameplate on the pickup cab on 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe?

Apply tape to protect the pickup cab area before you heat the existing emblem. Then use the plastic tool to remove it. Place the heat gun J25070 at a distance of 152 mm or 6.0 inches from the emblem/nameplate surface to warm it for 30 seconds while moving in circular motions. Use a specific plastic tool to carefully remove the emblem/nameplate from the pickup cab panel surface. Then clean the front and back of the emblem/nameplate using a 3M scotch brite molding adhesive remover disk according to the instructions on the package or an equivalent method. Apply varnish making and painting naptha to clean the pickup cab panel area. Place tape to the specified dimensions if the emblem/nameplate location has no defined spot. Heat the pickup cabin surface using the gun to reach 21°C (70°F) but never touch the emblem adhesive pads during this process. Set the emblem/nameplate on the pickup panel with the front side while taking off its backing material. Press the emblem/nameplate throughout its surface to help bonding happen and check for good adherence before removing tape from the area around it.
