How to replace the rear Trunk Lock Cylinder on 2002 Chevrolet Prizm?

To start the job you need to raise the rear compartment lid then separate the rod from the cylinder base. First take off the retaining clip from the rear compartment lid and then remove the rear compartment lid lock cylinder. Set the rear compartment lid lock cylinder onto its target position on the lid then secure it with the retaining clip. Join the rear compartment lid cylinder rod with its matching cylinder while shutting the rear compartment.
