How to replace the Automatic Transmission Shifter for the 3 Speed-MB3 on 2002 Chevrolet Prizm?

The first step to replace the manual selector for 3 speed-mb3 shifter requires disconnecting the negative Battery Cable. First disconnect the negative Battery Cable. Then remove the Center Console then remove the shift select cable from the manual selector lever as well as the shift select cable from the manual selector base. Proceed to detach the 4 bolts which keep the manual selector connected to the vehicle. Reinstall the manual selector by fitting it into the vehicle and bolt it securely with 4 bolts tightened to 13 nm (115 inch lbs.). Secure the shift select cable to its connections starting at the manual selector base then the manual selector lever by installing one spring clip. Install the Center Console while reconnecting the negative Battery Cable to its place.
