How to replace the exhaust heat shield for the catalytic converter on 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

In order to change the catalytic converter heat shield, lift and hold up the car with the Catalytic Converter Movement Notice. Make the exhaust support, disconnect catalytic converter and disconnect Heated Oxygen Sensor (H02S) wiring. Take out the rivets that have attached the heat shield and put in the new one and reconnect the sensor. Last, reduce the car and check on the leaks.
