How to service the Throttle Position Sensor on 2002 Chevrolet Malibu?

In order to maintain the Throttle position Sensor, the ignition should be turned off and the air intake duct should be removed. Unplug TP sensor connector, undo the fasteners and remove sensor with O-ring. Install the O-ring into the sensor, apply thread-locking compound to the fasteners and reconnect the electrical connector.
