How to replace the thermostat on 2002 Cadillac Eldorado?

In order to change the thermostat, drain part of the cooling system and take away the air cleaner assembly. Disassemble the radiator outlet hose off the thermostat housing, unscrew the bolts that hold the thermostat housing as well as remove the thermostat and gasket. Install both a new gasket and thermostat, and reconnect the hose and air cleaner assembly.
