In order to install a new thermostat, have the required tools and dislodge the air cleaner and duct assembly. The coolant can be emptied, followed by the elimination of the crossover exhaust and radiator hose. Unscrew the thermostat housing and gasket, clean the surfaces and the new thermostat is installed. Install the parts once again and fill the cooling system.
