How to remove and replace the Body Control Module (BCM) on 2002 Buick Rendezvous?

To install a replacement body control module (BCM), disconnection of the negative battery cable, removal of the console accessory wiring junction block, and release of the BCM. With a great deal of care remove the BCM then insert the new one, align it and fit it using the retaining lever. Install the junction block again and the battery.
