How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 2 Sensor 1 on 2001 GMC Savana 1500?

Vehicle elevation represents the first step when replacing the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 2 Sensor 1. Use the Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B) to disconnect the sensor connector while using the tool to remove the HO2S from the exhaust system. To install the new sensor apply GM anti-seize compound P/N 5613695 over the threads if required since this combination of liquid graphite and glass beads reduces sensor installation difficulties in the future. Use the Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B) to install the HO2S then apply torque of 42 N.m (31 lb ft) to it. Attach the HO2S harness connector until you lower the vehicle.
