How to replace the front door striker on 2001 GMC Jimmy?

To change the front door striker, loosen the upper striker bolts and remove the lower striker bolts to be able to rotate the striker. Install the lower bolt then remove the upper bolt and striker. To install, align and install striker and bolts, as required, to obtain an engagement with door latch.
