Start by removing the shock dampener from the inner Tie Rod assembly and slide it back on the rack. Then take the inner Tie Rod assembly out of the rack assembly by starting with putting one wrench on the flats of the rack assembly and another wrench on the flats of the inner Tie Rod housing then you turn the inner tying rod housing clockwise until it detaches from the rack. Clean old loctite off the threads of the rack and the inner Tie Rod. To perform this procedure, use the inner Tie Rod wrench (J34028). In the event of an assembly, position the shock dampener so that it stabilises on the rack, also ensuring to keep the threads intervals clear before applying the loctite (R) 262 (equal with other). Mount the inner Tie Rod to the rack with a wrench on the flats of rack assembly and with a torque wrench on the inner Tie Rod wrench (J34028) on the flats of the inner Tie Rod housing while tightening it to 100 nm (74 ft. Lbs). Last of all slide the shock dampener over the inner Tie Rod housing until the front of the shock dampener hits against the inner Tie Rod housing.
