    A: The replacement of the left rear park brake cable starts by releasing the park brake then raising and supporting the vehicle. The first step involves softening the park brake cable tension by unfastening the equalizer nut before cable detachment at the equalizer. It is possible to separate the cable from its mounting bracket by activating locking tabs and liberating it from the shock absorber bracket by unbolting that part. Users must depress locking tabs to remove cables starting from the lever and backing plate prior to cable elimination for every utility model except 15 series. With 15 series utilities follow the same method to remove cables from the lever and the backing plate. The cable installation starts with guiding the cable through both body mounts and guides and attaching it to the backing plate while 15 series utilities require locking tabs to snap before connecting it to the lever. The installation process for cables in all utilities except 15 series requires correct routing before attaching to the backing plate until the locking tabs snap and connecting to the lever. Insert the cable to the shock absorber bracket before fixing it with a bolt while tightening it to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.). Start by connecting the cable to the mounting bracket until the locking tabs snap into place and then connect the cable end to the equalizer before tightening the nut to the intermediate cable at the equalizer to 3.5 Nm (31 inch lbs.). After the vehicle is lowered it is time to finish by removing all safety stands and tighten the park brake cable.
